It concerns information Sharp collects about individuals.

If in the course of using a Sharp web site you provide personal information about yourself, you agree that we may make an information or database record about you and that Sharp can use the information provided by you to provide the products and services requested by you. In particular, Sharp may require your name, address and email address to deliver products and services to you.

Sharp offers services on its web sites which relate to delivery of product, software available for download, servicing of Sharp products and other services related to Sharp’s business in Australia. 

DATA SECURITY POLICY

Sharp Corporation of Australia does not store credit card “Card Holder” data electronically at any of our premises. Electronic cardholder data may be received and securely transmitted to a third party service provider (“payment gateway”) for the purpose of completing the transaction.

Where credit card data is physically recorded for the purpose of providing goods or services, those details are secured and kept in strict confidence and is only accessible by authorised persons for the purpose of completing the transaction. Once the transaction is finalised, cardholder data is securely disposed of within a reasonable time in a suitable manner as required by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
